MIDI Input Problem in Safari 10.0 / Mac OS X El Capitan

I've installed 1.5 but am having trouble using it here: http://www.hooktheory.com/hookpad/ I'm trying to use my MIDI keyboard to input notes into the player on that page.

I'm using a Novation Launchkey. from http://jazz-soft.net/demo/Connected.html I can see. The plugin seems to work somewhat.

MIDI-Out ports:
Apple DLS Synth
Manufacturer: Apple; Version: 1.0
Launchkey MIDI
Manufacturer: Focusrite A.E. Ltd; Version: 0.0
Launchkey InControl
Manufacturer: Focusrite A.E. Ltd; Version: 0.0
MIDI-In ports:
Launchkey MIDI
Manufacturer: Focusrite A.E. Ltd; Version: 0.0
Launchkey InControl
Manufacturer: Focusrite A.E. Ltd; Version: 0.0

However, http://jazz-soft.net/demo/MidiInput.html I cannot get MIDI input to work, no MIDI messages appear in the box. I tried to get Jazz-Plugin working in Chrome but it fails to work at all, but Chrome has a built in MIDI input so I'm able to use Chrome in hooktheory.com's hookpad.
