In senario all consonant musical intervals can be represented by ratios of senario: http://numero-senario.appspot.com/

Now also in 31EDO.
You can also watch the midi messages in the console.

I started fiddling around with my TX81Z FM-Module and made a voice data viewer. Using bootstrap for the interface and kineticJS to draw the parameters. It does choke on dumping the whole TX81Z memory but individual voices are handled neatly: http://www.cx5m.net/TX81Z/
I know you all would like to edit the FM voice but it's only able to update the voicename (...time... time...)

Related to that I made a KORG nanoKontrol ControlChange modifier in which you can quickly change the nanoKontrol's Controller MIDI-channel, multiplexing the sliders and button operations 16 times as much: http://www.cx5m.net/korg/

Ofcourse this could be expanded even more, you could put macro's under a key, triggering multiple (MIDI) events from one of the nanoKontrol's keys or sliders.

Backing tracks maker using Jazz-Plugin

Postby zkun_gs » Tue Mar 04, 2014 9:19 pm

Hi, I've made a backing tracks maker program using Jazz-Plugin. It makes loop pattern(up to max 96 bars) of Drums, Bass, Piano parts and you can play with PC keyboard Organ and extra MIDI keyboard. And you can make inner loop sections(up to 6) in it.
Bass part has 'Auto Play' mode. Piano part has 'Chord' and 'Arpeggio' mode. Drums part can be made by simple selection. You can use chord names like 'DM7' 'Caug' 'F#add9/G' 'Bsus4' etc.

I updated and added a new function. It can record MIDI keyboard playing and write SMF files. Please try it!

Attempt of using websockets to broadcast midi data: http://jazz-io.herokuapp.com/
Unfortunately, it is broadcast not so well, as on localhost.
Try:
Code: Select all
git clone https://github.com/letoribo/jazz.io.git
cd jazz.io && node app.js

If you have node.js and git installed.

Use "jazz" room

After enabling websockets for http://jazz-io.herokuapp.com/
it works better!
Now,you can play midikeyboard and data will be transmitted to another client.
Also, possible to import midi file in Cubase etc and set midiout to LoopBe (be sure to set midiin to Not Connected !)

The sounding clock, sounding during twenty-four hours never repeats.
Second and minute hands for a turn run 60 divisions of an octave, hour hand during a day passes 2 octaves.

http://equal.meteor.com/
This application calculates the frequencies, amounts of cents and Pitch Bend values
for any systems of Equal http://xenharmonic.wikispaces.com/Equal Division of the Octave.
Note, that both 'rounded' and 'floored' notations are equivalent, produces the same MIDI value.

Previous time when updating the app http://jazz-io.herokuapp.com/ I made an unfortunate mistake which resulted that the midi input stopped working. I apologize if anybody was disappointed. Now it's corrected.

One-man session program

Postby zkun_gs » Tue Apr 14, 2015 12:56 am

I've made a One-man session program. Just click 'Play' button.
Drum pattern starts and Bass part automatically follows your MIDI keyboard play!
40 Drum patterns and 40 Fill-in patterns are automatically saved in browser.
Bass play mode are 'Fixed', 'Semi Auto', 'Auto 1-4'.
If you have YAMAHA XG sound module or NSX-39(Pocket Miku),
you can use XG Variation Effect, XG Multi part EQ, XG Reverb, XG Chorus.
Enjoy!
